The All Japan Real Estate Federation was established in 1952 and now has over 20,000 members. The federation is made up of official members who are private individuals or corporations possessing a license under the Building Lots & Buildings Transaction Business Law, private individuals who have an interest in real estate, corporations and organizations which support the business activities of our federation as supporting members, as well as honorary members who possess learning and experience in real estate.

The Thai Appraisal Foundation is a non-profit organization set up for Valuation Education in Thailand. It acts as a research centre, conducting research on property appraisal and urban studies for the advancement of the profession and as an education centre conducting regular valuation and research courses organized for the professionals and taught by experienced experts from Thailand, Australia, USA and other countries.

The New Zealand Property Institute was formed in 2000 by the amalgamation of the New Zealand Institute of Valuers (NZIV), the Institute of Plant & Machinery Valuers (IPMV), and the Property & Land Economy Institute of New Zealand (PLEINZ). The Institute has around 3,000 professional members, who provide services in a number of property related areas involving people, places and spaces. These include; property management, property consultancy, property development, property valuation (rural, residential, commercial and industrial), facilities management, plant and machinery valuation, financial analysis, real estate sales and leasing, project management, and others. The Institute has 17 branches across provincial and metropolitan New Zealand, a number of overseas members, and is affiliated to a number of other international property organizations.

The Real Estate Institute of New Zealand was formed in the early 1900’s following a merger of various land agents and auctioneer groups. The REINZ operates under the Real Estate Agents Act 1976 and is responsible for the professional standards of its members. The RICS was founded in 1868 and was incorporated by Royal Charter in 1881 as The Surveyors Institution. Its name was changed to The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1947. The RICS is the world’s largest professional society of surveyors with over 85,000 members. Chartered surveyors are the leading source of professional advice on land, property and construction throughout the world. Membership of the Institution consists of four classes, namely Fellows, Professional Associates, Associates and Honorary Members; and there are classes of Probationers and Students attached to but not Members of the Institution. Fellows and Professional Members may use after their name the initials FRICS or ARICS and the designation 'Chartered Surveyor'. The Society of Chartered Surveyors (SCS) is the professional body for Chartered Surveyors practicing in the Republic of Ireland. The Society has over 1,250 qualified members practising in all areas of the Property and Construction Industry. The Society regulates the profession in the public interest and oversees all aspects of the profession, from education through to qualification and the continuing maintenance of the highest professional standards. The Society requires that its members carry professional indemnity insurance. The Society was a member of The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) until 1993, when it became an independent body granting its own qualifications of Associate (ASCS) or Fellow (FSCS). However, it retains strong links with the RICS and members of the Society are entitled to reciprocal membership of the RICS as Member, (MRICS) or Fellow (FRICS). The Society is a founder member of the European Society of Chartered Surveyors (ESCS) with headquarters in Brussels and with fourteen other member associations of Chartered Surveyors throughout Europe. In addition to the ESCS, the Society also represents Irish construction and property interests on many other European organisations. The Society is also a founder member of the Construction Industry Council (CIC) and is also a member of the Forum for the Construction Industry.
